Ground-up restoration in correct Le Mans blue with white stripes. This X77 D80 Camaro Z/28 runs and drives perfectly. Fresh 1969 DZ 302, not the original motor (the first owner launched the factory engine). 373:1 posi makes it a nice driver, but still has grunt. 2011 Mini Cooper Facelift

Nowadays, car designs rarely last more than about five years. There are several possible reasons for this, including technological advancement, refinement to fix problems with previous designs, and changing competition. Perhaps the most dubious reason to facelift a car is to lure existing customers back into the dealership to upgrade to the latest model year. Mini has just released a mildly facelifted lineup, just enough to let the neighbors know that you\'ve purchased a new Cooper.

2010 Le Mans - 24 Hours of Unprecedented Triumph and Failure

Take a look at the shot from the beginning of the this year\'s 24 Hours of Le Mans. If one had to place a bet on the outcome of the race by this photo alone, it is doubtful that anyone would have put good money on an Audi 1-2-3 sweep. The returning champion Peugeot team owned the first four spots on the grid. Things actually looked quite probable for a Peugeot sweep. But once the starting flag flew, Le Mans bit, and bit hard.
